International Children’s Book Day

Aside from showers and pranks, April also marks the celebration of Children’s Book Day (CBD) around the world. Celebrated on or around Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday on April 2 since 1967, the occasion is marked by activities organized by national sections of the International Board of Books for Young People (IBBY), which was founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1953.

I picked up this novel not knowing it was the sequel to one I hadn't read -- Veil of Roses -- but I found it could stand on its own. One warning, however: It was impossible to review Dreaming in English without including major spoilers from Veil of Roses. Just so we understand each other!
