I have always been a fan of Nora Roberts, having read her books since the 90’s. I really wanted to love her novel, Whiskey Beach, but I found myself putting it down after reading short bit at a time. The story seemed t drag. It seemed it took forever for the story line to build before reaching he suspense, romance, and secrets. It did pick up about halfway through, and at that point I was pulled into the story. There were twists that I did not expect, and the ending was unbelievable.
