Fiction

Red Queen (Philippa Gregory)

Red Queen is a fictional account of Margaret Beaufort, future queen of Scotland, from the time she was an innocent nine-year-old, full of grand dreams of her own, to an unloved wife and widow at 13, and a mother at 14, determined to give her son everything, even if it could cost her her life.

Mentor Leader (Tony Dungy)

“Your only job is to help your players be better.” Tony Dungy heard this from one of his earlier mentors and has been his guiding principle ever since. This simple principle has led to his success as a leader and coach in the NFL. Dungy shares the seven keys of mentoring leaderships and how it’s effective.

History

War (Sebastian Junger)

tony dungys new book “the mentor leader” is very hard to put down. it has some wonderful questians and comments and the end of each chapter and at the end of the book. which kind of shows you how to make a difference in the community. these questians would be great for discussion in a Bible study or a book club and this book would also make a great gift idea for a friend or family member. tony dungy has several other wonderful books: quiet strength, you can do it, and uncommon.
